Welcome, Chuck! Greenwood Beach/ Dempster St. right there in Evanston is where a ton of locals launch - mainly weekends. Talk to locals first before venturing out. Hello Ilinois / Chicago Area Windsufers. My son & family are moving to Lake Forest, Ilinois in July from Evanston. I am coming up to help them move in etc. and want to bring my windsurfing and foiling gear with me. Hoping to sail Lake Michigan. Can anyone recommend some good windsurfing spots in that area or north in Wisconsin too? Thanks!!3 years ago
