Hi Ady. Yes, it looks like it will be NE at 17kn all day with gust at 22 to 25kn. That looks pretty promising. I plan on heading to south beach in the morning as I have meetings from 11:30 to 4:00. If I still have some juice left I’ll return for a late afternoon run!

Early on in my windsurfing life (aournd 1989 or so) I got the good advice to try really hard to get gear that was all the same, especially sails: always buy a quiver of same make and model. It makes everything much much easier in an already difficult sport. The Chinook masts are just soooooooooo much cheaper than the same thing from other brands, and it's the best quality.

Hello Ilinois / Chicago Area Windsufers. My son & family are moving to Lake Forest, Ilinois in July from Evanston. I am coming up to help them move in etc. and want to bring my windsurfing and foiling gear with me. Hoping to sail Lake Michigan. Can anyone recommend some good windsurfing spots in that area or north in Wisconsin too? Thanks!!
