Taught myself and sailed in Springfield, IL thru the 80's and 90's. Raced One Design boards with my wife Gail all over the midwest and Florida. She made the US Womens team racing DIV II boards in the late 80"s. She was a better racer than I was :) Now I am a retired old guy and still sail a few times a week.
