Hi all! So I just started windsurfing in Berkeley, CA a couple of months ago and I am ADDICTED, of course, but now I'm moving to the Windy City in August. I'm excited for the fresh water, but I have no idea how to keep up my windsurfing habit in Chicago. Are there any places to rent windsurfing equipment near East Lakeview or surrounding areas (no car)? How long is the season? How does one stay warm--invest in a drysuit? Thanks guys!

Elizabeth Thanks for the advice! I don't think I will be windsurfing in Chicago for the time being, but if you see an asian girl looking with awe at you launching from Montrose, say hi cause that's me. :)
