Finally got a day out of Purgatory. Got on the water around 3:00. W to WNW to NW..6.3 Severne Freek with Severne Psycho 102. Wind in the upper teens, gusts to 25mph( 3 times). Wind made me think about the 5.6. Chris came out in his new van. He sailed his new old 6.9 Ezzy Tiger.

Looking for wind to drop down out of the dam pool. 2 miles of fetch. Is there enough wind out here?



Yes there is.



You can see the Purgatory parking lot. Nice shade in the afternoon. Grassy rigging. Scenic view. Adventurous launching.

The main pool wants to swell even in this light wind.

Reid, I hope to get back to IL. for a visit and meet all you guy's. Was planning this fall but with gas prices maybe next spring summer.
