That’s incredible! You really can make that Kona fly. Is this from Tuesday? Can I put the picture in the Club 30 Hall of fame?

A Kona coming at you at 30 mph is scary.

Can't wait to see what GPS you get with the Volar. I've seen you moving on that too.

This was on Tuesday 10-22, wind was completely West and kind of squirrelly. I used the Volar for a couple out and backs but the holes were too much to have fun with that board :(

Hurrah!!! Rich. 30 on a longboard, especially a Kona One is quite impressive. I don't have much hope of ever getting there on my Kona. I'm glad you give me a real achievement to try to match.

I recalled watching this video a few years ago and looked back for it curious what speed did this Aussie guy reach having a better speed sensory awareness now. 34 kn , that’s a little over 39 mph-the “Holy Grail”, ha ha. Can you imagine doing 39 on a strapless 12’ board over a choppy lake? That’s the kind of fun that I’m not itching to have

That's amazing speed without foostraps!
He does have an advantage with no daggerboard slot on a SUP...I do get a small fountain of water coming up the slot when the Kona is up and moving.
Wonder if I could slap some gorilla tape over it and get some more mph??
