Looks like it could be setting up for an epic day at Peninsula. E-ESE wind in the 5.8 range + - , all the way to sunset. Water temp on the west side touched 57 F today(4/08).

Who's with me?

If it holds, planning on being there around 1:30 pm
I have a brand new Goya 5.9m2
Should I bring my 135 liters or 106 liters. No room for both

And last year, my best session was at the Peninsula.
So if it holds, it would be fabulous

I'm leaning toward your 106. Your 106 should carry your 5 batten 6.8 with no prob in case it's not quite 5.9 or stronger wind. Your 106 comes with a 32 but you could bring your other fins along too.

Looks good, but we'll keep watching for updates.

I can’t do Wednesday. Thursday or Friday for me probably. Which means: Thursday-Clinton or Friday-Wolf...for the moment.

I’m all packed
5.9 m2 Goya nexus
6.8m2 gaastra hybrid
106 liters jp all ride

Nervous about my first of the year with an all time smallest volume board

I plan on being at the purgatory around 1:30 pm

Upgrade: They've upped the base and the gust.

Sylvain, do you have a smaller sail than 5.9 to also bring? And you meant to say Peninsula launch.

I have a 4.7 and a 5.3

Peninsula. Thanks for catching my mistake

I'll be bringing out your boom for them.

Bloomington already touching 20 mph several times. It's not even 9:00 am.

Well, this was quite satisfying
I did not jibe, I did not break any speed records, but...
I am past the apprehension hump
I was stressed about my first 2019 sesh because:
- my last 2018 sesh that was so rough
- my new board (never sailed on such a low volume board) and I have never been so fat...

But all in all, I will mark this day as a success.
I will need some time to get used to the 106 l board, but I had a few fun moments
