Brutal. Started with a 4.7 but switched to 4.2 soon after. Tried some things, nothing worked. Embarrassing performance compared to the other guys on the water. Very disappointed with myself

Talking about disappointing. I'm sure yours wasn't as big as mine.
This one was my first time back in 5 months, so I was completely out of shape. Then, I started with a 4.2 that it has to be at least 25 years old (I got it for free). Horrible sail. It felt very flat during wind lulls, which it's the last thing you want in a sail in Wolf. The board (or the fin) didn't help either, a 95l Naish wave from 2004 single fin that kept spinning out. I know, probably putting to much pressure in the back foot, but I didn't want to risk getting catapult on a 40mpg gust. Anyway, I changed to my 112lt truster fin and my 4.7 Ezzy. No more spinouts and less getting stuck in the lulls.
