I first start learning in 1988 in Puerto Rico with my first board, an original Windsurfer board (the one with a bed sheet for a sail).
Made my first jump in a 12' Mistral Competition and since then I've been telling myself, today is the day I will go for a forward loop, but chicken out every single time for the last 20 years.
I had a Yugo.

We, incidentally, JUST got back from Oahu today. Since you're asking about where to rent, I'm going to assume that you haven't been there before, so here's my take:
Honolulu is definitely one of Americas greatest cities, but it's like......tropical-Chicago. It's a VERY urban city: huge, crowded, EXPENSIVE, amazing, exciting, dangerous, weird.....all of it.
