This is so embarrassing! I keep mixing up the names of the Bolt and the Blast. I apologise for the confusion , when I said Bolt I actually meant the Fanatic Blast.

Thanks guys. Yes, the new 115l Goya Bolt I tried back in April and the old 112l Fanatic Ray feel really similar on the water. From memory, the rocker, tail cutouts, hull shape and outline of both are very close cousins. In 5-6 years, freerace boards seems to have maintain similar design principles guess. Why change something that works, right?! Regardless, the Ray is fun and comfortable to ride and quite at ease in straight line sailing going up and down the chop, and the one I rented was a 2013 model in absolute pristine condition! If I was still on the market for something like this, I would try to buy it from the that shop at a discounted price!

I wonder how long before they bring back the old Freewave too. I hate the look of the stubby shapes and I bet I’m not the only one.

Good thing they resurrected the Ray. The Bolt couldn’t quite replace it apparently. Why the ugly new name though -Jag, I prefer Ray.

Wow, love it. Airplanes in shots. Looks like fog upwind. You seem right at home on the Ray. Great vid, Greg.
