I'm on Maui at the moment till Sunday. A lot of pros are here for their annual photoshoot. I saw Jason Polakow, Brawzinho, Levi Siver, Ricardo Campello.. Even Antoine Alboau was at Hookipa having problems to get out at first. Good to see that even pros can't always get trough the shorebreak easily even though waves is not his discipline. It's been windy and I've had a lot of fun but sailing with a friend would be better. Send me a message if you are on Maui and would like to have a company or grab a beer. I'll post some pictures later.

Awesome pics, Stefan! How many days have you sailed out there? How was it?

It was windy the whole week I was there. The trade winds had returned by the time I got there. The conditions were not perfect the week before (lots of rain) and week after we left for Kauai. I sailed 5 days. Rented from Second Wind (I always go there for equipment) Te gear was great, Fanatic Stubby Freewave and S2 Alchemy and Dragon sails. I could have sailed every day but I was there with my family and honestly needed some days off the water.
