Nice late afternoon session at St Joe on Sunday. Rode the 5.3 on the Evo wave board. A little underpowered near shore but fully juiced outside. Some big swells on the outside. Loads of fun. Only 1 foiler, 2 kiters and about 8 surfers out with me... some more pics in the Photos section.

That's some sweet-assed swell!
Two observations:
1. As a freestyler and wave sailor, seeing the front hand w/under grip the boom upsets my sense of the proper order of the universe.
2. How many other people kept clicking the "play" button in vain before realizing, "Oh.....it's a screen shot."

OBX-Wind 2023 is in two weeks!!!

Eric - By the time I got the camera out, the wind had become very much onshore, so I was back on the fin. Was getting some nice backside hits but going down the line just wasn't happening. I also flip my front hand around alot when it's cold just to keep the fluids moving!

This is from the same spot on a good DTL day... I can assure you my front palm is down :-)

It's called the Robby Naish grip. :) But like our Drew, he uses both. Nice waves, Drew!
