Well that didn’t turn out as I hoped it would but I at least got plaining and the board out of the water a couple times. My ankle feels solid and I haven’t lost any sail control after my time off recovering. Even duke jibed my 6.5, may have been ugly and in slow motion but pulled it off. I’m ready for the big lake. Feel road trip coming on.

I got out there around 11:30. Worked my way up to The Narrow with 5.8 and 108 FSW. Wind kicked in when I got up there and I thought I might get overpowered. Got some nice rides. Then a dark cloud moved in. It was a line of scattered rain from Bloomington to Chicago moving ESE. And as everybody else made it up to The Narrows, it became a contest of who could get on plane in the least amount of wind. We got off the water around 5:00. It even rained a little while the sun was out, WTF. Great to see everybody.
