...78 is too much. I’ll stay in Wisconsin for a session in 39 degrees. :pinch:

Woohoo, I was starting to consider this another 0 week. I’ll try to make it to Clinton for sure.

For new folks, the West Side launch is for unloading and loading only. And then park in the "non-trailer" parking lot.

I'm thinking of going down tomorrow. Thinking about rigging 3.7 on Free-B (101Ltr.) using no foot straps. Take it over to the shallow shore line to right of the boat ramp and just practice walking the board and back winding the sail and stuff. Going to wear a ankle brace and just take it easy. I will probably bring my wave runner as well because I need to get it out for the first time. My son hopefully will come with and I can give him a lesson, he has a wetsuit and I can save him with the wave runner if needed or he can save me whichever it may be:) Only thing is breaking away from work.

Downgrade: Forecast just got kicked in the balls. :( Might be rain in the mix. See if they can bring the wind back on next update.

Update: Sure enough they put the wind back. I'm not sure what the noon lull is. Doesn't seem to be rain. Afternoon looks great into sunset.

Nice day. Warm and sunny for the most part. The wind was very patchy near shore so although I had moments when I wished I’ve rigged 5.2 I kept going with 5.7 and overall was glad I didn’t waste my time changing sails, the 5.7 was the right size for me until the very end of the session. Came in around 4:30.
Kit used: Kode 94L in single 28 cm fin mode +Revo 5.7 at max setting including lower clew hole,

Was a nice day, I gave it a try but my ankle/foot just wasn’t ready. However, it felt good just being on the board.

You'll be as right as rain soon, Chris. Just walking to and from launches, with gear in hand, is treacherous enough with healthy ankles.

I like your jump pic, Ady. I was trying jumps with no chop just flat water. Not easy. It's like a skateboard ollie.
