I went to CLSA because that was the spot for the forecast's direction. There was still a windline to get too. Very gusty. Tested the water temp off the dock. 55F :( . Water here was 67F last time out. Put my hand in the water, it started to go numb. And the air temp was 52F :( No pelicans in sight, they left. So at that point I was going to make F13 work no matter what. :) Water at F13 was 60F. And being wind sheltered on shore helped. I was toasty warm. Wore my 5.4 ION core. Forearms are tight on this thing. F13 was working with 200-210 degree wind . Best is 210 to 220 degrees - then it's your own personal waterpark with an all day wristband. Wind rolled to 180 to 200. degrees. :( This is tough even for a Midwesterner, but i made it work. I had sometimes only a 100 yards or less to get on plane and try something. But I was warm.

F!13. The pelicans are gone. But the Coots were out. They're hardcore. They were in their suits with sunscreen faces in the lineup waiting for their set.
