Sailed a new spot: Peninsula Cove. Part of the family friendly Peninsula Day Use complex. For all things Easterly. You've got the classic Stairs launch and west of it is Peninsula Cove. It's shaded, has a sand beach, and doesn't have the scenic overlook bluff right behind you. Giving it a good wind exit and jibe-o-torium at the top of the cove. You're right where the main pool meets the dam pool. Best wind direction ESE - bringing it over the 50 foot channel. If it ever goes 4.0... Got planing a couple of time on 4.8. Could of sailed 6.3. It kept acting like it was going to kick in. You know how it is. Chris sailed 6.9. Rich went out with 9.5.
