It is sailable and it has been for a while now. I’ve sailed on Wolf on 03.27 and 03.30. Put on a wetsuit and have a blast, I’ll be sailing Friday too.
The report of my 03.27 session:

Wolf looks pretty good. I’ll stay “local “ I suppose.

I do, but it’s useless . Looking at the Calumet and the Lansing readings it must be 5.2/4.7 conditions.

Brutal. Started with a 4.7 but switched to 4.2 soon after. Tried some things, nothing worked. Embarrassing performance compared to the other guys on the water. Very disappointed with myself :(

Talking about disappointing. I'm sure yours wasn't as big as mine.
This one was my first time back in 5 months, so I was completely out of shape. Then, I started with a 4.2 that it has to be at least 25 years old (I got it for free). Horrible sail. It felt very flat during wind lulls, which it's the last thing you want in a sail in Wolf. The board (or the fin) didn't help either, a 95l Naish wave from 2004 single fin that kept spinning out. I know, probably putting to much pressure in the back foot, but I didn't want to risk getting catapult on a 40mpg gust. Anyway, I changed to my 112lt truster fin and my 4.7 Ezzy. No more spinouts and less getting stuck in the lulls.

At least you had an excuse. My “best” jibe of the day looks like this:

With a very few exceptions I mostly crashed the rest.

The tri-fin setup made my straight line sailing less stressful at least.

I’m too old and weak for this I should pick up kayaking instead
