  • Whats good, I actually just found my first windsurf board and am going to start as soon as I buy all the extras. Since I am a snowboarder and looking for something to ride while there's no snow on the ground. Me board is a Mistral unique and am looking for any recommendations regarding sizes for sails. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks, Justin

Reid Fillman My first sail I learned on was a 5.5 size sail no cams. A sail around that size like a 5.2 is easy to up-haul and control on a long board. Once you get better something around a 7.5 will be powered up better on lighter wind long board days.
