Garry, I owned a windsurfing store in Chicago for 29 years, and have been an instructor for 35 years. I have an intimate relationship with all the gear. I also know most of my fellow industry people. I'm still on Maui, and have nothing to gain except helping someone new to our sport. Unfortunately I'm not into typing or I would have been throwing my two cents into the fray all along. You are welcome to use my telephone number or see me at Kanaha, any time.
Aloha Jackie!! Thanks so much for checking the site. My wife and I have one more lesson and it should be this Wed. We had our lessons from the same lot at Kanaha. How long will you be here? I would like to take you up on the lessons. Are you vacationing, taking lessons, working for someone giving lessons or all the above? Mahalo, Garry
Garry, I'm a Chicago windsurfer, and I'm currently in Maui. I'm also an instructor and would be happy to help you out with some advice. I'm at Kanaha, every day there is wind, and if you ask around for Jackie in the farthest parking lot toward the airport someone will point me out or you may even be asking me.
