TOPIC: Harness: Prolimit Fusion is my preferred

Harness: Prolimit Fusion is my preferred 6 years 3 months ago #1

Thought I’d share my impression on my new Prolimit harness! When I rented equipment at Boardsports California a month and a half ago, they gave me one to try and I really liked it. The best feature is the quick pull tab release. Easy on / easy off and in case you get stuck under the sail with a twisted harness line still hooked, the quick release might save you from drinking the lake! Compared to my Dakine T7, the Prolimit Fusion has a smaller profile, isn’t as rigid, has a better form-fitting, doesn’t migrate upward as much (grippy neoprene on the belt), is more comfortable I think and best, it allows more freedom of movement. For $189, it was worth the upgrade.

Maybe you had good experiences with other harness brands and models? Feel free to share.

Just ordered a 2017 model Ion Radium in black/red for 150$. Not that anything is wrong with my current harness, but just couldn’t resist at this price. Can’t beat black & red and has a spreader bar pad too :woohoo:

Thanks man! I just ordered one. I blew out my Dakine the last time I was at the point. It had already been previously repaired by a local sail maker with seat belt material. Prefect timing.
