Used 2013 Fanatic Skate 100 for sale at Second Wind. The 100 is kind of a hybrid board -it is supposed to have superb carving abilities and even small wave riding is supposed to be fun. If I wasn't dead set on Starboard I would have considered it.

A complete land sailing kit at 2Rad-for 320$ it sounds like a good deal, no?
It seems there are a lot of fans of those land sailboards here in the wind hungry Midwest.

RRD FSW 108 (2013) 68 cm wide, 41 cm tail, 108 liters of light wind wave lust. When sailed on Clinton it keeps asking, "Where are the waves?"

It might be awhile until we see FSW's this wide again. There needs to be a line of these in that 100 L+ sizes.

Im starting to be cautiously excited about next Monday and the eventual N wind in the forcast. This may be the first /for me/ wave riding session for the season. Unfortunately Im not any better off then last year equipment-wise /for lack of funds/, but hopefully I can offset with improved skills /I wish/. I keep researching though and the latest toy that got my attention is the RRD Firewave 102! There is not much posted about it , but from whhat I was able to read it seems to be a nice FSW alternative with a strong wave bias. The Firewave have been around for a while now and if anybody has a first hand experience please share!
