TOPIC: Looking for Race Board less than 115 lts

Looking for Race Board less than 115 lts 4 months 5 days ago #1

Hey everyone, I'm on the hunt for more speed. Hoping someone has a line on modern race board in the 105lt to 115lt range, less than 66cm width and tail cutouts. Currently riding a Fanatic Blast 115lt for flat water. Great freeride shape that works well in all conditions but thinking a dedicated free race or slalom board might be a good time. Thanks!

I have a Mistral Screamer II, 103L, 55cm width. Don't know the year, but it's in great condition, and it's fast as hell. It's too advanced for me, so I'd likely be happy to trade it for something with a bit more surface like your Fanatic Blast. Attaching pics. Jon, 312-961-2129

Thanks Jon, I'm looking for a modern board. Post 2010. The screamers were great boards. I had one back in the day. I'm not looking to replace my Blast. I bought it new a couple of years ago and couldn't happier. That said, for the flat water days i want to start tracking GPS speeds. What makes the Blast work in waves limits its top end speed.

I'm selling my 2021 Tabou Fifty 115l Team (lighter/carbon). It is modern, short and fast board. Dimensions: 232cm x 72cm, 7kg.

If you're looking for speed, this will deliver above and beyond if equipped with a proper carbon race fin, a 2 or 4-cam sail and the skills to match! Tabou is classifying this board as a freeride but it's anything but a freeride experience: I've sailed and tried full-on slalom boards and comparatively, the Tabou is almost there on both performance and technicality. It is certainly one of the most involved and active board I have even ridden (Definitely not like a freeride board!). It has a strong Vee upfront (smooth and controlled in the chop) and a double concave all the way to the tail. It has huge cutouts and the tail design is looking like the one of the most recent Duotone Falcon.

This board wasn't available in the US so I brought it back new from Europe during a trip and it's likely the only one around in the US.

It had a small dent on the left-front rail from an unruly harness hook that got too close during a catapult! I repaired it with the greatest care and following the proper process as it should.

It can be yours for $1,300 (With or without bag is same price).
Available for pickup in Sheboygan, WI.
PM me if you're interested

Now, you might ask, why selling it?
I was using it mainly to foil and since I bought a dedicated foil board early 2025, I have no use for it. I also purchased a 115 Severn Fox Pro to ride on Fin that should be a bit less demanding than the Tabou Fifty! I'm not getting any younger and I need a bit of easier-going rides these days!

Here's a link to some details in a couple of posts as I'm riding it: windsurfillinois.com/index.php/forum/win...e-fsw-board-so-i-got

If you need more pics, let me know.

Thats a great looking board. Wider than I'm looking for, but I'll keep it in mind. I really like the Tabou Mantas,Rockets and Starboard Sonics, and Futuras. A beat up Sonic came up for sale locally recently but I was out of town. Bummer!
