This is a little off- topic, but I've got an old carveboard that I'd like like to mount a rig on for some low-speed parking lot windskating. If I can avoid it, I'd like to save my on the water booms and would like to find a worn out but usuable boom (or even a whole rig) that could take a little abuse. If anyone has some old gear they're looking to get rid of in the the sub 5.5 range, or any pointers regarding windskating, please let me know!

On a somewhat related note, is there still going to be a gear swap at Evanston this year?

Is your Carveboard the one with the big tires? (Dragonpaw) That's what I have and it's an awesome skatesailing board.

Adjusting the tire pressure to suit the conditions is very helpful.
