Anybody get a piece of it? I had an appointment Michigan side was going off - South Haven to Michigan city. St. Joe buoy hit 9 1/2 feet around 6:30 EST. Anybody hit it on either side of the big lake?
Few of us had a decent sailing at the wall. I started with a 5.2/86 untill 13:30 when it dropped and caught me in with my pants down and I had to bail out downwind of the launch. Switched after that to 6.5/110 and sailed without issues untill 18:00.
Thanks. I've been using the iwindsurf website but never installed the app. It was a good day. The following is the screenshot from my GPS watch website. I forgot to turn it on for about one hour so the distance should be about 50 miles.
Ah, so you switched to a Switch at some point! I didn't see you /probably while I was drifting hopelessly / and later when I rigged up I was wondering how are you doing it so good -presuming you are still on the 5.6. If I had a gps my tracks would have been all over the place and would have given up my newly discovered , top secret , emergency exit
Pretty cool, Stefan. We need you guys to record top speed of the day so we can know who's King of The Wall. Unless you were doing freestyle on your Skate. Wow, 50 miles is like sailing across to Warren Dunes.
I've lost my competitive side long ago. Cruising mindlessly back and forth is good enough for me at this point in my life-relieves the stress you know! That's all I care about while windsurfing-leaving all the BS on shore.
