Good luck to you! As they say, the bigger the effort, the greater the reward! I have to agree here.
One thing that is not to underestimate, is how appropriate your equipment is. Learning to windfoil on cobbled up equipment - wrong size foil, mast, board, etc. - makes it more difficult.
