Anyone getting rides on their windsurfer? Been crazy bad down here. Sometimes forecast can’t predict local conditions, if anyone sees potential please post, I’m really Jonesing.

Jet stream has been blowing unusually north for this time of year. All systems with frontal boundaries have moved way more north of us resulting in many-many slow-moving high pressure bubbles over the continental us. Looks like a dip in the jet stream is coming our way… maybe some wind ahead of that? But the high pressure over the Midwest are very slow to exit.

Current wind map. Not very promising. If wind is on the forecast for next week, it will likely be below 15kn. Maybe a bit more locally with thermal effects.

It was a GREAT year (in Kansas) up until May 7th or so, then it just stopped. No end in sight.....

My wife and son (who can't care less about windsurfing!) begged me to go to a place with hopefully more wind, so we booked a week in Bonaire in July!!!!
