Finally some windy conditions here in WI last Wednesday with a NW 18-25kn. Local Kiteboarder crowed invited me to a launch on the shores of Lake Poygan, just 15min west of Oshkosh. The lake is actually fairly decent in size. It is shallow but less choppy than Winnebago nearby. The launch was actually someone's private lawn near a fire lane access. I'm sure there is more public access where parking is authorized. I'll update once I find one.
The session started on my 8.5 then quickly strengthen and I found it was quite powered on my 6.0. Tried some fast runs but bouncing over the chop was too severe to go faster.
