TOPIC: 11/18/20 Sheboygan

11/18/20 Sheboygan 4 years 1 week ago #1

Mid afternoon punishment on North Beach Sheboygan during a SE blowing 35kn in the gusts. I literally have to drive 2.5 minutes to get there from my home! I started with a 6.0 and then switched to the 5.2 on the 125l Bolt! Yeah, wrong combination but wanted to see how it felt in these conditions. Not good! The board was flying all over the place, very hard to control and was way to fast for me to manage the steep swell going out. Good learning but and an experiment I won't repeat! I cannot say the swell was super high (felt like 3 to 6 feet) but the gopro shots didn't do justice to how chaotic the water was that day. I lasted 30-40 minutes total and called it quit!
