Headed up to LSP for the day. Forecast is looking good for a classic dune-powered breeze :-)

Beach has disappeared so we will probably be at the lighthouse.

It's already blowing 21 mph at Muskegon at 9:00 am - it will be blazing up at the point!

Little Sable Point Map. For those that don't know. The dune Andrew is talking about gives a thermal boost. And the wind gets Venturi squeezed around the point. All adds up to rippage.

I woke up and looked at it snd told my GF I should be driving up there. Too bad I couldn’t just leave like that. Need more advanced warning and I missed seeing it until too late. Already made comments. Maybe if anyone sees a session about to happen in a couple days we can post?

Was a good day! Sunny, warm water, super warm air. Seven windsurfers ripping it up on 4.7s

Wind blew hard from about noon until some stormy looking clouds came in (about 3:30) from the SW and shut it off.

Drew,
How does the launch and beach area looks like? Any pictures you can share?

Greg, here's some pictures of the windsurf launch just north of the lighthouse launch and other photos I shot over the years. Andrew is saying the lake level is too high for it now.

Thanks Reid. Nice shots and very nice place. I'll have to convince the family to go camping there.

Everything you see in this picture is now underwater... :(
