How are things looking for Sunday at Clinton? St. Louis boys are looking for a place to go!

High 48 with decent wind, I don’t know if the plant is running so the water might be in 50’s.

They are showing 51 degrees now. Every degree makes a difference. Now if we can get some sun, Rah?

NOAA: Partly sunny, with a high near 52. Breezy, with a south southwest wind...increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph.

If you can stand the cold looks like a good day for the Marina. SSW wind. Water temp is 51 F. Things without rubber on them go numb below 55 F. The plant was shutdown for refueling Sep 16th. And the water lost 30 degrees in that time. The plant is back online but warms up slowly.

This day might be too cold for me. Drop a report in this thread for those that make it out. Don't forget your hot coffee.

We have full sun in Bloomington, I’m going to go to the Marina to check it out. I’m banking on it being warmer and windier than forecasted like yesterday.

Full sun, the water isn’t too bad but with no gloves my fingers got numb. I'm sailing with a Chicago sailor, have to ask him his name again, he is still out at The Narrows. I was getting a little overpowered at times on my 5.8. Where you at Ady, this is your type of day!

Andy is the one sailing, he’s going back out I have to bail unfortunately. It’s windy, full sun and 55 here, at least I got an hour of sailing. Too bad more people didn’t make it. The playground is all Andy’s now.

Wolf must’ve been good yesterday and I’ve missed it because of laziness and today I’ve missed Clinton because of work. Great!

I got out a little after 2pm. Andy was still out and catching great rides in the narrows. I had to quit after an hour because my hands were cramping up and numb. Andy was finishing up around the time I was leaving. Nice to have sun and wind....but holy crap that water is cold :(

Thanks for the reports. If you guys got that cold I did the right thing not going. Welcome, Andy! Sounds like you were rippin'!

Some nice wind out there.
