Clinton Lake Forecast



Looks like a good day for Purgatory Cove. WNW in the 6.9 to 5.8 range. I will hand walk you through it. Not a scratch on you or your gear. And launch you into the best Clinton has to offer: 2 miles of fetch and 1 mile reaches. If the forecast holds will get there early. Anybody thinking about it? Will give updates.

Update: Slight upgrade.





Cool crisp Canadian air. Yes, that's snow on the north side of Lake Superior.

Im packing my gear this afternoon so I can hit the road early.

Update #2: Downgrade. Ya jinxed it. But the main pool always puts me in a freeride mood. Wind now in the 6.9 sail range.

I plan to be out there sometime after lunch.

Early birds got the worm. Got on the water with 5.8 with 108 FSW from 10:00 to 12:30. Tried hard to get Chris's jumps on the GoPro. Hard to get everything to line up. Next time.. Water was way warmer than the air. Rich came by for a visit on his Kona. He launched from the Marina because he had t do some boat stuff. Fun day.
