It was great to meet some of you guys yesterday, and I had a great time with continued progress and made it past the end of the dock!

The wind gets squirrelly in the Maina sailboat inlet which makes it harder. Im not the best at givimg instruction but next time you see me if you want some pointers let me know. Once you progress to the point you can get into your harness and footstraps the real fun begins. You just have to pay your dues so to speak, keep at it!

Was a nice day overall, even if the wind didn't really show up. Got in a few rides on my 8.0 and used both the Falcon and Volar, so some good practice in all that boat chop. Was great to see/meet Sean and Sylvain, nice to have a lot of boards out there on a sunny summer day!

I had a blast !
This was a really nice day.
Thanks Reid for helping me fine tune my sail.
It was nice to meet all of you, definitely a nice crew

Hopefully I can make some adjustments for next time
- buy another foot strap (only have 3)
- buy gloves, I have a nasty blister
- re-adjust my straps
- get myself a new body (I am completely out of shape, feeling all sore still)

We all had a good time. Met Sean and Sylvain they were already rigging up. Showed them where to park in the shade. Showed Sean how his vintage extension worked - the previous owner didn't either and the previous owner was using lots of rapped tape as a collar. Helped Sylvain rig his sail. It's a good looking Gaastra. It was pretty gusty. I rigged 6.9 with 108. Peak wind hit around 2:00 to 2:30. The motorboat cross chop was rough. Air temp was around 92 F. The coldest part of the lake is now 85 so add 10 to that for other spots. You fall in and the water is warmer than the air. I had to come off the water in the afternoon I was just getting too hot. Great to see everybody!

Reid, thank you for the pictures. This is great. I would love an avatar.
FYI, my family and I will be camping at evergreen lake. I’m bringing the windsurf gears just in case...
I also bought these 2.0 and 2.5 m2 rigs for kids. Unfortunately they will only arrive Tuesday. Keeping my eyes open for a dirt cheap 150 liters or more board, I’m a little nervous the kids will break my board
