This could be a rain out. But it needs to be watched. Afternoon wind (if a no rain window) turring SW in the 5.8 to 4.7 range. If F13 area is packed use the Bridge launch. Not sure yet if I can even make it. Don't panic, Friday looks good also with no rain.(I'll give it its own topic later). Water temp at the coldest part of the lake(West Side) is now 68 F. :woohoo: Dark water sun baked.

I am planning on sailing this afternoon. Seems to me the storms will pass this morning and then the afternoon will be clear. I don't see any indication from the radar that we will be having rain this afternoon. Hopefully that will stay true. I have repaired my 5.8 with clear gorilla tape per Ady's suggestion. Looks good, we will see how it holds out. Is anyone else planning on sailing?

Hey Reid, whats your call West side or the Marina? Im off work after 10:30am and will head down then.

I still like F13 for the SSW-SW wind this afternoon(if crowded Bridge launch). Marina is the other option.

The trip down to the lake might be a little slippery with all the mud. Tect me when you get to the lake and I will do the same. Rich, can you make it? Drop that PTO request and come have some fun!

Held onto a 5.2 all day in 25+ conditions. Feeling like Iron Man Glen! Had it dialled in thamks to Reid and his Maui tool. I'm still at the lake Reid's on his 4:7. Check out the wind graphs, we are in the wind spot today jumping, blazing rides, having fun! Hope others are getting some of this!

When F13 is going off it feels like your own private wind tunnel / wave pool. Rain missed the lake just to the south. Sailed 4.7 with 95L FSW. Lit from first reach around 11:00. Hammered around 1:00. Best waves then too. Gave the 4.2 some serious thought. Wind settled back into my 4.7. Got off the water after 4:15. Water temp 68F

You can see on the graphs rain hit Decatur and Champaign around 11:00 - 12:00. We didn't get any of that lull at the lake. Windy the whole time.

The best place I ever found
Wasn't close to any town
Was a little swimming ground
Everything just floating around

Wow!!! That’s what I’m talking about! Obviously missed an exceptional day . Instead got 2 bad ones and Alan told me that Wednesday hasn’t been any better at Greenwood, they got skunked with Mike and had to swim back to shore. Clinton rules!

Wish I would have brought my 4.7, didn't expect that I would need it, I was wrong. When it peaked I was spilling wind on my 5.2 but managed. Thanks for the pics Reid!
