The Marina launch looks like the spot. SW wind turning to W in the 5.8 to 4.7 range. Head up to The Narrows and above to chase the shift. Marina Sail Park is on the launches page (left menu Clinton Lake > Marina Sail Park) windsurfillinois.com/index.php/launches
Had a good time sailing 5.8 at the Marina, good to see Staffan and Sepi back on the water along with Staffans dad even. Ried made the right call sailing up to tbe narrows, the boat traffic was bad near the Marina.
Had a good time today on the 7.0. Nice to see so many people out! My family and I drove the boat around and snapped a few pics. Sorry if I missed someone!
Fun day. Great to see everybody I rigged the 5.8 and let the wind build into it. I headed up to The Narrows for cleaner wind. I couldn't make the motorboat chop work for jumps this time. It was just a hot mess. Nice flat water and rippin' wind on the west side of The Narrows. I started to get overpowered around 1:00 and headed back. A bit of a roller rink around the Beginner Cove. But everybody was making it work.
