I'm thinking that as well. I'm reading it as SSW, not enough west for bridge pool and the West side access will have too much West. It's best for south or SSE/SE. Reid? Are you going, what do you think? Rick, bring your friend and come on out. I shoud be at the lake by 1 or 2pm.

NOAA: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. Breezy, with a south wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
I'm going. Yeah, guys, it looks good for the Marina. The wind should start SSE and roll to SSW after 1:00 pm.(see maps above)

Was everything they predicted. Had a some good runs, it was really gusty though. Reid and Rich were there as well, Rick and his friend showed up as I was leaving. Great to have wind this time of year. Went for a loop but Reid said it was more like a cheese role. Anyway, at least I tried it, not bad for an older guy. Hope it keeps coming in July.

Fun day at Marina Sail Park. I got an hour in before anybody showed up. My 5.8 was lit with the 108. There were some 4.7 gusts out there. Had several seshes. I had to come off the water at the end of the day. The setting sun on the water during port reaches was blinding. Great to see everybody.
It was a great day being that its June which is usually dead as far as wind goes. I got a pinched nerve in my back which took me out Thursday. Hurt worse than my MCL, ankle or broken ribs. I guess I found the limit to my pain tolerance, it dropped me to my knees, worse pain ever! I had to leave work cause the pain was so bad it made my eyes water, my nose run, upset stomach, dizziness and I broke out in sweats. I was trying to tuff it out but my coworks and boss insisted I go home. I think I'll s be off the water for a couple weeks.

No, it happened because my seat harness slipped down too far so my lower back took the load of the sail when a gust came and I turned my hipps and pulled back. I typically have my harness just below my naval. I knew I was hurt but kept sailing. Figured it may be my last day sailing for awhile so didn't want to stop.
