Wow, what a day. It was like a water park out there. This was the 4th 6.9 day in a week. Everybody was in a good mood out there - fishermen, motorboats, sailboats, I headed my way up wind and would use the top of the party coves to jibe in. Long reaches. I would race anything that crossed my path. The water was warmer than the air. It made some of the best swell for the wind speed. I got to sail with Rich again. I got off the water around 6:00. My 6.9 with RRD 108L(68 cm wide), with 38 cm fin is making for a hell of a summer set-up. It reaches down and grabs 15 mph wind and can handle a brief gust to 30 mph. And still maneuvers / feels like a freestyle wave. I can't wait to sail it on Michigan swell for those "almost" days.

The Turkey Vultures let you know you're at the right launch.
They always ride the best up draft off the treeline for the day.
