Looks like the Marina could be the spot in the afternoon. I won't be able to get out there until after 3:30. But I might get out there for the Clinton Lake phenomena known as "the 4:00 blow" when the wind kicks up a notch. In the spring when the sun's been out all day the upper level winds drop down to the heated black fields as the air temp cools off in the late afternoon.
At Power house Pub in DeWitt, got my time on the water then Sepi showed up and Reid, got some good pics with Reid's camera it just does everything for you besides focus in and out. Go Hawks!
Fun day at the lake. Thanks for the live reports, Chris. The 5.8 with the 108 FSW worked well for the mild conditions. Water is warm enough now for my 3.2 suit. Chris took some great pics. And it was nice to meet you, Sepideh. Welcome!

I'm glad I was on the water by 1 p.m. The wind was best from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. I worked my way up to the main pool and had some decent rides. Hope we get some good wind this weekend!
Staffan and Sepideh are our new locals. They looked around the world for windsurf paradise. We tried so hard to keep Clinton Lake a secret. Might have to shut the site down if this keeps up.
It was so much fun to get on the water after all these months. Great first experience in Illinois! Really happy to meet Reid and Chris! And thanks for the photos so I can show Staffan what he missed out I'm looking forward to many more sessions with the local enthusiasts.
I wasn't too pleased with the pics, I was taking them with the sun in my eyes, I couldn't see unless looking through the camera or with my sun glasses on. Reid makes it seem easy! Staffan didn't mention that his wife can sail so well. Good to meet you guys, I'm looking forward to sailing with you guys in the future. See ya.
