Sailed Clinton at the marina launch. Was really on shore and Gusty! Rigged 4.7, I was either completely powered up riding gust or slogging. The wind direction caused the situation due to the tree line on far side and where it could release on the marina side. it was very challenging but I was able to get some good rides and feel lucky to be on the water in March. Hope others make it out today and tell us your opinion. Purgatory Cove as it has been deemed which is off of route 10 might be better launch site this afternoon if you know your way out.
I never made it on the water. Purgatory was too offshore. The Marina was brutal in its gusts and lulls . Chris made the best of it. WSW is tricky at Clinton but not as bad as a straight north wind. Water temp at the Marina is 58.

Chris (4.7 sail) Heading up to The Narrows is the trick if the wind will let you head up there.(Shifty gusts and lulls)
