TOPIC: F13, SSW-SW 4.8*, thunderstorm, 3/14/24

Skunked!...by a thunderstorm. After morning rain the wind finally started to fill back in. I drove across the bridge around 1:00 and it was wall to wall whitecaps right down the pipe. Your own personal wind tunnel water park, with an All Day wristband. I rigged 4.8 got my 3.2 suit on. The water felt like mid 60s F, air temp 71 F. And then bam, everything shut down. A pop up storm just NW of the lake reached out and grabbed Clinton Lake by the balls. Chris didn't even get in the water. If it wasn't for the little storm we could of sailed to 4:00. See graphs. And nothing like a tornado watch to speed up the derigging. More was coming from the south.

A pop up storm just NW of the lake reached out and grabbed Clinton Lake by the balls. :( That's all it took to shut the wind down.

Now it's farther north and away and you would think the wind would come back - But NOOOO! :woohoo:
