3 for 3. Got to test the low end of my new gear in the afternoon. 6.3 Severne Freek with Severne Psycho 102. I was surprised. The kite-wing foilers, para-foilers, and kiters on good old lunch trays were in shock & awe as they all had to limp in and watch from shore me getting on plane. A half hour later they finally got enough wind to come out and join the fun. There's a new light wind sheriff in town.

Look at that shy. The rain front no longer had any rain in it by the time it hit the lake. But the wave still kills the wind.



Here's the wind. It was SSW down the pipe. From the wave front.




Boom! Flying across the lake at almost 30 mph. Wind is 15 + best guess. No whitecap. Just looking for dark texture gusts.

Narrator: "And on May 31, 2022 at around 1:30 pm, kite-wing and para-foiling had been canceled"



A couple of kiters drifted way down wind frantically doing figure eights. It looked like a used car lot was having a sale down there.



What's not to love?



You can blaze a jibe when there's not enough wind to make high chop.



I'm talking blaze.



Finally enough wind for other folks. Susan makes it up wind on a 12m and Ken on the foil. I'm now lit on the 6.3 Freek. New benchmark as everybody keeps track of what folks are on.



Whatever it takes to get folks on the water. Wind began to turn more S.



It doesn't have to be whitecapping to jump now. Sick! 'till next time.
