You've heard of "Float and ride". Well this was float and gust. You schlog and wait for your set. 12 to 32 mph and shifting WNW to NW and back again depending on what's most inconvenient for your reach. :lol:

The 5.6 Severne Freek can rig on both a 430 (+2 ext) or 400 (+32 ext) masts. I rigged it on the 400. Checking the shape. I later came in and gave it more downhaul.

Nice pictures and awesome looking kit.
Ha! Exact same problem for me up north: Wind was either on or completely off... The by-product is water with less chop when it was cranking.
Was pretty happy with my runs.
