NOAA: Partly sunny, with a high near 75. Breezy, south wind increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. A chance of showers before 11am, then a slight chance of showers after 2pm.
Looks like a good day for The Corner. Wind south in the 5.8 ti 4.2 range. Bring your GPS. Water temp could be 60F +.
Didn't go as planned. Rain storm to the north just grazed the lake. NOAA felt bad and didn't want to show it in full detail (see graphs). Wind dropped and shifted SSW. SSE is the "speed ditch" setup. Water temp at The Corner was 66 F . I wore my 3.2 suit.
Gander didn't like me heading toward his goose(she's between the last 2 trees at the end of the point). He yelled and flapped his wings. He threatened to crack my head wide open right there in front of everybody at the Boondocks.
Chris, 5.8 sail. Me, 5.8 sail.
