First I missed the stronger wind and I went out around noon too optimistically with 5.2/94. It felt fine in the gusts hitting 31 mph a few times but overall it was crazy up and down which makes it too much work handling the 94. The 360 practice was a disaster, I didn’t progress an inch. Im arriving at the conclusion that I need to turn another 2-3 feet but the 94 looses speed too fast especially when chop gets involved.
At one point I got really pissed off and just came in and rigged the 6.5 which btw is slowly disintegrating-I found and patched 2 cuts in the clear panel. A new 6.5 would make a great Christmas present!
Went hard for speed runs with the green turtle and finally was able to override my previous top speed with just 1 mph. It’s not much but I did 35 mph in less then 30 mph wind, so I’m happy with the result. Forced the AtomIQ to fly on its fin which is a tough job because the board is extremely sticky.
