The forecast for 12.27 looks nice. We had something similar back in 2014, when my records for the 27th show WSW 18-35 mph on Wolf and unseasonably warm. I sailed that day with my 6.5 and 5.8 sails and my Atom 110. I didn’t know Clinton yet.

Woohoo! Got some sailing today on Wolf. Not great, but a lot better then the last time I sailed here. Had some good runs between 12 and 2 pm, wind out of WNW 10-20 mph. Temperature was lower then I hoped-just 34 F , but I was comfy in my layers with only my finger tips being cold. No more fear of the 30s By the time I changed in my clothes and started de-rigging, the sail was covered in ice crystals.

I had a great end of year session today on Wolf. Not only was the sun shining bright , but I also had a company ! Mike Mooney came to sail as well so it was a lot more fun then the gloomy and lonely sessions I had lately . Wind out of SSW 12-22 mph and air temperature reached 36 F around 2 pm. I had a blast on my 7.5/110 kit and so did Mike although slightly underpowered on a 6.6 Hucker and 160L Bic Techno. I’ll just post a little layout I made out of 2 of his and 2 of mine pictures, but I post some more footage when I get the chance.

Great shots Ady. I was doping my in-laws at O'hare by the time you were on the water! If I had my gear, I would have given this a try!
