No one planning to sail in Chicago on Sunday? Up north the wind looks weak so I was going to do the trip to Chicago wherever...

Im in CA this weekend, but Chicago looks like it would be pretty tricky on Sun. If the NW holds for awhile, always a big if, then Gilson park would work, sideshore launch, pretty bumpy, but be safe, dont get blown downwind. Striaight W wind is crappy everywhere.

You can check some of those border lakes like Geneva, Silver...etc., there is always someone sailing. People I’ve never met elsewhere, some from WI, some from IL. Or like David said-Gilson beach. With showers around though, anything can happen with the wind. It’s probably not worth it if the forecast doesn’t improve.
