Well yes, but not quite like Clinton does I started with my 5.2/94 and then switched to 5.7/94 and was kinda underpowered especially later. Should have rigged 5.7/94 and 6.5/110 instead, but I just wanted to ride the 94 . The wind at Wolf is just too patchy for small boards. Still it was great practice for tacks and helly tacks , with some jibes and chop hops thrown in the mix. Staying upwind was the issue as usual when underpowered. My GoPro did a weird thing and shot all the water videos turned 90 degrees. I have to figure out which setting from those I changed caused this. Also instead of one continuous video I get many short ones with the longest being 17 minutes. Maybe the hits push the buttons.
Awesome! I turned your last 5 pics 90 degrees. The GoPro automatically breaks the video up into 17 min clips for easier handling, it's not stopping and starting. Put all of them into a timeline of an editor it will play as one long clip and you won't see any break in the video.
Great capturing of the action. Gorgeous GoPro HERO7 Black screen grabs!
Thanks! All the videos are turned the way the snapshots are. Any idea why?!
I had a very nice DW 360 attempt with the 5.7 but I can’t find it in the videos, probably the battery has dyed at that point. I was able to hold the rig again after the laydawn, but then I had to drop it. I think I should start trying to power it up at this point instead of waiting for the board to turn some more. Next time. Maybe this Sat at Clinton!

Is your GoPro in vertical "Portrait" mode . "Landscape" or "Auto" ?
What is your playback software?

If you can capture attempts the video will show you a lot.
Side note: As you probably have already noticed you have a little more room to tilt the GroPro down to get a little more board in frame, if you want. Like top of frame just above your second batten. I use the boom clip as a reference and go just above that at the lake. I also account for the sail lean so the GoPro is horizontal when on a planing reach. That's trickier.
Portrait, Landscape? Where is that menu? I don’t think I have those options.

Getting to Know Your GoPro
CAMERA ORIENTATION
Your GoPro can easily switch between landscape and portrait shots.
It also captures videos and photos right-side up even if it’s mounted
upside down. The touch screen menu will automatically adjust and
your media will play back right-side up.
The orientation is locked in when you press the Shutter button
.
If your camera tilts during recording, like on a roller coaster, your
footage will tilt with it. You’ll capture every twist and turn.
Landscape Lock
This locks your camera into landscape orientation. Your on-screen camera
menu won’t change if you rotate your camera to portrait orientation.
1. Swipe down to access the Dashboard. 2. Tap Preferences > Touch Screen > Landscape Lock.
Heads Up:
Videos and photos shot in portrait orientation with Landscape
Lock on will play back sideways.
PRO TIP:
Use Landscape Lock to keep from accidentally starting a
video in portrait orientation. It’s perfect when you’re using body and
handheld mounts
