Looks like a good afternoon for Greenwood. Looking forward to some wave rides :)

Wind is not cooperating, but there is still a chance for a late afternoon session.

Not looking good in the wave department today :( On my way to Calumet instead. I may get a nice 6.5 blasting session there at least.

Terrible. From underpowered to overpowered in one hour. To running over submerged object and loosing my brand new 150 $ fin way out in the lake. To learning to sail finless 110/7.5 in 20-30 mph gusty wind and very bad chop. To finally reaching shore but missing the park by a little and landing instead on the beach of the yacht club where some very nice people gave me a ride in their pickup truck back to my car /equipment and all/ . Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?!

Wow. Sorry to hear the loss of the new fin. Sounds like the session from hell.
Do you launch from the Calumet Beach usually?

...fin first is fin safe! Ha!

Yeah , turned out that I’m the greatest looser ever and up to that day I still believed that I’m just an average one :( Well, it’s an achievement nonetheless.
