Looks nice, wind in the 20s and air temperature in the 50s. I’ve missed a great day on Monday, while bunch of guys had lots of fun on Wolf, but I’m not going to skip today.
It seems that we had it better this time then the guys at Clinton. It was gusty with lots of lulls but the rest was nice -5.7 conditions. At least this is what I sailed-the 5.7 Revo and the 94 Kode. Good turnout too with 8 windsurfers and 2 kiters, but that was no surprise with temperatures in the upper 50s and sunny. Awesome day for late November!
I had a little accident with my 1 year old boom when the tail piece bent when I grabbed it for a duck jibe and then it broke when I tried to bend it in the opposite direction later. I hope I can buy a replacement tail, because I like that 26 mm grip a lot for my wave sails. It happened 30 min before the end of my session and I used my big carbon Chinook boom, but it felt kind a weird on the Revo, while it is just fine with the Retros. I still have my old Aeron but it is 29 mm grip and I hate it.
