Fun encounter yesterday. I had a business trip to Grand Geneva Resort and on my way back I took a detour to check Silver Lake out of curiosity. It has been windy and I was fairly certain there will be someone windsurfing . Quite a cool surprise when instead of some locals I bumped into couple of Chicago fellows just coming in

Beautiful and well kept. Looks like there is an entrance fee during the season ? I would say it is more like S;SE;SW place. There is a dedicarted sailboard launching area at the right end of the parking lot. That's the separating fence in the picture.
