Nice session yesterday! Wolf Lake at its best-bright and warm day, clear water with no foam and smell and S wind 15-25 mph. I was the first one on the water, having rigged a 5.8 with intentions to practice the Helly untill the wind picks up. It should have been a too small of a sail, but as it turned out almost immediately it happened to be just about the right size. I managed to do my first ever speed gybe with it-not strap to strap , but close enough . Then I switched to 6.5 Retro for more oomph which made the setup quite slalomy and speed/duck gybes didn't feel right anymore . By 4:30 I was completely exhausted and it was time to call it quits. Nice payback with interest for the pathetic Sunday.
